Ahhhhh, winter in San Diego! Who can resist? What a great place to vacation and include a teddy bear and doll show! We have a great list of doll dealers including Marshall Martin who will also take the time to identify your doll! You'll find teddy bear artists from all over the world and a great selection of Antique Teddy Bears. John Paul Port will be on hand to to identify your teddy bear! On Saturday evening right after the show, Teddy Bear & Friends will be announcing the winners of the Inspiration and Industry Choice TOBY awards. In addition to an evening at the TOBY's we have added 2 fun classes to our busy weekend: Patti Ulrich with be conducting a Mini French Fashion Rendezvous all day Friday. Steve Schutt will also be conducting a Teddy Bear making class Jester Bear all day Friday.Details and tickets are now available in the Doll Shop on this site. This wonderful convention is returning from hibernation with all of the unique fun that you have come to expect in it's 27 year history.....all modernized and moved to a new forested setting, May 10-12, 2012. This is a great time of year to travel to this beautiful, historic town, so bring the family! Themed, Teddy Bear Adventures in the Enchanted Forest, you can look forward to 2 1/2 days of entertainment, classes, demonstrations and time to get to know the participating artists. We will begin Thursday afternoon with classes, tours of the Seirra Nevada gold country, and an afternoon welcome & salute to artists. Friday morning, there will be interesting classes & presentations to attend, with the sales floor opening at 11AM. We will start Saturday morning festivities with a Teddy Dialogue Breakfast. |
